The ordinary moments #4: her quiet rebellion

the ordinary moments: her quiet rebellion

She’s used to them now, but when Aoife first started school the rules on what she was and wasn’t allowed to wear to school didn’t go down too well. She soon found her own quiet little way of rebelling though.

May her ordinary moments always be colourful and sparkly. And may she always find a way to stay true to herself in a world that so often depends on fitting in.

  2. What a spirited girl. There’s far to much pressure on kids to fit in and it’s great to see she’s not only got a mind of her own, but that she’s not afraid to show it. I hope M grows up to be the same.

  3. I love the pigtails Carin! And good for her, sticking to her guns and rebelling in small ways! x

  5. Love that she has found a little way to rebel!! It’s so cool that she already has such a strong personality that she wants to do things her way and not just blend in. x

  8. Oh, I love this! It’s funny… I noticed the ponytail holders (that’s what I call them) immediately and didn’t make the connection that they were related to the title until after I read your words. I’m so glad to see her identity is intact. It’s a personality trait that will serve her well in life.

  9. love that you encourage her uniqueness!
