Back in early February, I took part in a postcard swap arranged by Artists in Blogland. I showed my three postcards here, and today I will show the ones I received. So far I have only gotten two of the three cards, but I don’t want to hold off any longer.
This beautiful card was made by Victoria Lau at Raine Moments. Not only is it gorgeous, but served as a timely reminder at a time I was worrying my art was taking me in the wrong direction. It fits perfectly with the other I received a few days later….
And this lovely card is from Jane Wetzel, who sadly didn’t leave an email or blog address, so I can’t link to her.
Thank you so much to both Victoria and Jane for the lovely cards. I treasure them.
Yes, they are lovely! LOVE the dog – and the message to breathe 🙂 xoxo
I adore the Breathe card. And I’d love to know more about the feeling that your art was taking you in the wrong direction. Just curious as I come to terms with my own process… I’m training myself to write what wants to be written, and not what I think I should write. It’s scary stuff.
Hi Carin!
I’m so happy to hear that you received my postcard! I was worried for a long time that it got lost in the mail as the stamp wasn’t sticking well on that kind of watercolour paper. I guess I never received your email for some reason. Anyway, I’m really glad you got it and enjoyed it! 🙂 Stay in Touch!
Victoria
Very pretty cards with some great messages. Love postcards that encourage you like that.
They are both beautiful! Truly…
