Ever since I made my poetry tote Aoife has been nagging me to death to make a blue one for her. There was no way I would get any peace until I had made it, so as soon as I had all the fabrics I set to work! I used a mixture of new and thrifted fabrics for this one and think they mix really well. I particularly love that owl fabric by Moda and bought it in a couple of different colourways so I can use it for a couple of future projects I’ve got planned (oh boy, I think I’ve caught the sewing bug!).
The best part though is seeing Aoife so thrilled with her new bag. It’s been permanently attached to her shoulder today.
so sweet : )
Thanks Nicole!
oh Carin!

i must have worn that same smile a million times what with all the things my mother used to sew for me!

She’s a cutie, and what a great bag. I love the owls. I know what you mean…I think I caught the sewing bug too. I was just at the fabric store today buying more for more bags!!
Oh, what a cutie!!! Your bag is just FAB and I love that you honored her request! Back from vacation and wanted to catch up – thank you for your sweet messages while I was away – it’s good to see that you’ve been happy and well,
