Spring is by far my favourite season. I adore it.
I love the mild, fresh air against my face as I slowly start to strip off each weighty layer of winter clothing. I become happier and more energised with each layer dropped.
I love the bright, gorgeous colours of spring. They’re so clean, fresh and happy. And they suit my complexion best, which, of course, is a bonus 🙂
I love digging my hands (and feet) into the earth again and dreaming of all it’s possibilities. I stare at seed packets and marvel at what they’ll become in my care.
I love seeing new life all around me and hearing the birds sing so happily from trees and rooftops. I soon sing/ whistle along my own made up tunes.
I love nothing better at this time of year than taking long walks to soak up the sun, the bird song, the scents and the colours. It’s such a happy time for me. Yesterday Aoife brought me the first ladybird found in the garden to show me too. It just seemed so fitting.
Welcome spring, I’m so glad you’re here!
P.S. Finally decorated the front cover of my art journal. See it here.
I’m so excited about spring, too! I think my favorite part is being able to wear my sandals, though, or go barefoot.
I love your spring pages!
Ah, this is a slowly waking, softly blooming bud of a page spread. 😀
Spring is second to Autumn for me. I’m definitely a ‘mild’ weather gal.
Thanks Lisa! Yeah, I’m a barefoot girl too. It is just one of the little pleasures of the warmer months.
Thanks Mon! Sadly, all the spring poems I used to line the page don’t show up well in the picture, but I enjoy seeing them peek through whenever I look at the page.
