Art, Heart & Healing: week 3, part 2: celebration page

Celebration page by Artfully Carin

No, you haven’t missed anything. I’m a bit behind, so I’m doing week 3 and 4 of Art, Heart & Healing in a topsy turvy manner depending on what supplies I have to hand, or can get hold of first. I was floored by a heavy cold last week and am still weak as dish water, but desperate to get back into the studio, so anything goes.

I loved playing around with this spread. It was fun concentrating on the things in my life I’d like to celebrate right now, and making that really grungy background. I love that picture of Alan and Aoife from this summer, it sums up their relationship so well- tickles galore!

  1. Oh Carin, this is GORGEOUS! Such happy art – I love love love that you’ve included your baby in these ceebration pages. Fab grunge textures and colours. Looks like you really enjoyed this piece.
I’m rather behind, due to various swap commitments, but I’m itching to get on with weeks 3 and 4 too (especially having seen what you’ve done here). I do hope you feel better soon.

  3. What a lovely page Carin. I just love everything you have on there. What a great way to make us look at the good in our lives rather than the opposite. The grungy look is great and I love the colours.
